Villains that still give you the creeps, even now

The Space Kook from Scooby Doo Where Are You scared the crap out of me as a kid.
Let's see...
Alien? Check.
Possibly undead? Check.
Skull for a head? Check.
Horrifying laugh? Check.
Haunted airfield? Check.
Incredibly scary looking ghostly space ship? Check.

It's like they gave him the ridiculous name of Space Kook to make him less terrifying.

Pretty much every villain from Courage the Cowardly Dog. Queen of the Black Puddle comes to mind. It's always freaked me out how once the puddle dries up you can't get out. Also Him from Powerpuff Girls.

I know plenty of villains that totally gave me the creeps until now,

Mumm-Ra(Thundercats) - He was really scary/creepy for a fantastic mummy villain which his scary voice rocks!!!!!

The Boogieman/The Sandman/Sam Haine(The Real Ghostbusters) - Those villains were pretty scary when I was little which the Boogieman gave me nightmares because of his ugly gross appearance:eek::ack:!!!!!

Dr.Claw(Inspector Gadget) - Agreeing with king_of_doom, I kind of thought he was some monster because of his scary evil voice if that MAD symbol was his face or something.

The Joker/The Scarecrow/Clayface(Batman:TAS) - For awesome supervillains, they were pretty scary/creepy for their actions especially the Scarecrow's deadly fear gas, eeeekkkkk!!!!!!

the evil kitten(Taz-Mania) - That scary/psychopathic little beast totally scared me to death while rooting for poor Taz to flush him!!!!!

Toyman(Superman:TAS) - He was pretty scary/creepy for a toy-making supervillain especially his voice and that suit of his making him look like a living toy.

Horde/OpenFace/Octopus/Baby Boom/Brainiape/Doubleheader(Savage Dragon) - As a big fan of that epic action series, the Vicious Circle villains were pretty cool and really beyond scary/creepy in all levels.

Oogie Boogie(The Nightmare Before Christmas) - For a talking pillow full of bugs, that's what you call sick/scary:eek:!!!!!!

The Delightful Children from Down the Lane(Codename:Kids Next Door) - They were my top favorite villains and yet they are such creepy freaks when they are always together & talking in groups, that's what you call creepy right there!!!!!

Archie the Rabbit(Squirrel Boy) - For a cute rabbit villain, he was really scary because of his scary psychopathic eyes, yikes:eek::ack:!!!!!

Princess Azula(Avatar:The Last Airbender) - She was scary/sick/terrifying for an awesome psychopathic villainess especially she goes psycho/berserk in her breakdown!!!!!

Vincent Vladislav Argost(The Secret Saturdays) - He was pretty scary/creepy for an awesome sick/murdering psychopathic yeti lusting for power.

Van Kleiss/Skalamander/Circe/the EVOs/EVO Weaver/the Faceless EVO(Generator Rex) - All of them were awesome, but really scary/disturbing/beyond creepy villains!!!!!!

Ran/Ryoko/Soban/The Spice Girls:Ginger,Pepper,& Sugar/the alien centaur captain/the Blue Bird(Urusei Yatsura) - They were pretty scary/creepy villains especially Ran/Ryoko's crazy psychoticnesses and Soban's ugly big lipped mutant appearance, yikes!!!!!

Yami Marik/Sartorious/Luciano(Yu-Gi-Oh!/GX/5D's) - They were really super creepy/scary especially Yami Marik's scary demon voice which his 4Kids dub voice actor did an awesome job, but his Japanese voice was more scarier though.

Ryuga/Tetsuya(Beyblade:Metal Fusion) - They were pretty creepy/scary villains like Tetsuya who's hilarious & super scary/creepy for crazy crab-obsessed freak which Scott Mc.Cord did an amazing job with his crazy character.

Orochimaru(Naruto/Shippuden) - For an awesome villain, he was totally creepy/scary especially turning your tongue into a snake & becoming a chick, yikes!!!!!

Johan/Mr.Hartman/Inspector Zeman(Monster) - They were truely creepy/sick/disturbing for sick twisted psychopaths especially how Johan kills his victims and messes with their minds.

I remember that one! Actually the gang was in Venice, Italy, the episode was called A Menace in Venice and the villain was The Ghostly Gondolier(Sp?); he didn't really scare me that much, but considering the villains on Scooby Doo were always supposed to be more humorous and not scary I don't think many of them were.

However, some of the original Scooby villains were pretty creepy, the Ghost of Hyde with his green face, the Ghost Clown who could hypnotize people with a gold coin and many others.

When the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo came on and the ghosts were all real, those were pretty creepy villains, although there were a few that take the cake:

Maldor the Malovelent from the episode Scoobra Kadoobra, who put Daphne and a princess under a sleeping spell and took over a castle and forest, plus he practiced black magic, he was creepy

Time Slime from the episode It's A Wonderful Scoob, who used a Killer Clock, and yes the word Killer was in the name of the device, plus he was the one who caused Scooby to temporarily retire from ghost chasing, but he came back and the world was unharmed; although VIncent Van Ghoul did have to take Scooby to the future and show him what life would be like if Time Slime took over, basically the world that Vincent showed him was a desolate wasteland, in other words Time Slime was able to take over; any villain who can actually carry out a threat like that and succeed is pretty scary

Nicara from the episode A Spooky Little Ghoul Like You, she was an enchantress who tried to drain warlocks of their power, oh and when she kissed a warlock her hair turned into snakes a la Medussa, now that's creepy

And Professor Fantasmo from the episode The Ghouliest Show on Earth, he used a calliope to hide a circus full of monsters, not to mention towards the end of the episode his calliope was broken and it showed who he really was, very creepy; oh and he hypnotized Daphne and Flim Flam with a magic whip

There were a few other ones from that show that were creepy, but those are the ones that were the most creepy of all of them.

Plus there was Lena and Simone from Scooby Doo on Zombie Island; I thought that was an awesome movie, it's too bad WB didn't decided to do more movies like that, it was the perfect way to bring Scooby Doo into the 90's.

And there was Ben Ravencroft from Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost, deceitful, tricky and he eventually became an evil warlock who wanted to bring back the ghost of an ancestor who was a witch and the two of them would work together to take over the world, another great movie.

Basically there were many Scooby Doo villains who were genuinely creepy, yo just had to look through the 41 years of Scooby to figure out what villains were really mean and nasty, but there were many.

Well, you have to remember that the show was geared towards little kids and that Fred Silverman and Hanna and Barbera pitched the show under the name Mysteries Five to CBS, problem was the artwork that they used was deemed too frightening by the network so the three reworked the concept a couple times until they came up with Scooby Doo Where Are You?

Also, most of the villains on the original show were named the way they were because they were supposed to be geared more towards humor and not towards horror; however even despite of that many of the villains on that show were pretty scary, even to me as someone who doesn't find things like that scary.

DEMONA!

I thought she was a vampire when I first saw her.

Judge Doom from Roger Rabbit- It was the scene where he picks up this happy, living cartoon shoe that has done absolutely nothing wrong and drops it in turpentine in which it painfully melts to death. Traumatized me when I was a little kid, still has that effect on me now.

On that note, any other character that shows that kind of heartless random cruelty. I'll also second King Hamdo from Now and Then, and add Mayuri from Bleach.

Villains that gives me the creeps, even now? I can think of three:

  • Hexxus from FernGully, mostly due to Tim Curry.
  • Fred from Courage the Coward Dog.
  • And that Junkyard Crusher from The Brave Little Toaster, the "Worthless" song added to it honestly.
