I think it should be outdoors. With an outdoor stadium, we can use the cold weather in Minnesota to our advantage. With an indoor or retractable roof stadium, there's no weather advantage. Putting a roof on a new stadium wouldn't help the Vikings in any way. Football games are fun to watch when it is snowing, and we'll never see that with an indoor or retractable roof stadium. What the state should do is let the Vikings have an outdoor stadium and repair the Metrodome so it can be used for indoor events, like basketball, monster trucks, and many non sporting events.
