Videodrome - my thoughts - SPOILERS

Has anyone seen this? I thought it was a very good film (not sure if "enjoyed" is the right word), it was a bit of a mindf*ck at times :D :eek:

Not sure i understood it all? My thoughts:

Videodrome: 4/5

Disturbing, wierd and hard to watch at times but still a very good film.
I found the ending wierd/ambiguous:
Did Max really kill himself in order to destroy Videodrome? Maybe that was part of their plan (to get them to kill himself) after all - Niki telling him what to do with the tapes meant she had died on Videodrome for real.
Max appeared on Videodrome killing himself. was that in his mind?
 
I was a Cronenberg fan from the early 80's and so Videodrome is a kind of nostalgia for me as it came out at the height of the video nasties era and CIC Video needlessly cut the film to bits to avoid any hassle.

You should check out the 2 disc Criterion Collection dvd with commentary and lots of extras

Sky have also been showing it in HD
