CM 5.0.7 running on a G1

Cyanogen says he'll have an update for us G1 users shortly! He's finishing up some tweaks and it should roll out later this week!!!!

Since he is coming out with a beta version of this tonight, and I'd like to get my hands on it, I am going to need to flash the Danger SPL (will be required because it frees up the most space to make the ROM fit). I'm currently running Haykuro's SPL. How would I go about flashing the Danger SPL, and what sort of consequences will it involve (ie: need to reflash everything, reinstall everything, etc?) Thanks!

My G1 been on 2.1 since December so I'm not too excited about this, sorry.

I thought they were the same, just making sure. I tried out some 2.1 ports. They worked nicely, but I just went back to CM because it was faster. Hopefully CM's 2.1 port will be faster than the other ports... only time will tell though!
