Video part of av cables not working for xbox 360?

I tried to play Xbox 360 today. I could hear the audio but I couldn't see the video. It showed angular white lines going across the black screen. I didn't change anything and it worked the day before. What can I do to fix this?
 
try flipping the switch on the thing attached to the cord it may have to change to work with high def!
