Video of ignition switch removal

I have removed my ignition switch several times with no problems, but I didn't do it exactly like that. Problem is I don't remember how I did do it!!!! GREAT POST!

I believe I used 1/4" copper tubing. The top bend is somewhere around 45* because any more of an angle would weaken the copper. I just bent it towards the position I wanted after I put it in the ignition hole. I have since made one out of a scrap steel strap that is 100X stronger but the copper one works just fine.

I put the video up for you guys again. I took it down because some other HD sites are claiming it as their own. I changed it up with my user name and "HD Forums" on it for the new one. I'm just waiting on the mods to okay it before I swap them out.

Thanks loads; you individually, and to this Forum. Can't begin to tally the hours and dollars I've saved thru the helpful posts here. I was just in the garage; gonna reposition the bars for straightening (tweaked a bit). The Service Manual said to remove the Fairing Cap first, and that section said to remove the ignition switch knob. The instructions for that were nebulous at best, so I came upstairs to search for better instructions on the Touring Forum...found this video. Yay! Now I just need to order a key from HD so I can continue.
