Video games you want to see as animated movies

Maybe a Sly Cooper cartoon would work if aimed at an adult audience. Just a thought.

How about Jak and Daxter? I know Ratchet and Clank had been mentioned, I'd love that too.

I was going to say Donkey Kong, but they already had an animated series, and the Ledgend of the Crystal Coconut DTV movie (sadly VHS-only, but hopefully it'll come to DVD).

I wouldn't mind Disney giving their take on the Kingdom Hearts universe. In 2D, preferred. Got no problem with it being CGI (it's just too common).

Wouldn't mind an original Sonic the Hedgehog flick, either.

I'd say Tales Of, but it's already gettign a movie. :p

Banjo Kazooie would be interesting, too. And, an original Final Fantasy movie would be great too.

Wow, Starfox sure has changed since I played last. I don't remember a blue lady fox, or dinosaurs.:confused:

Anyway, my top 2 choices for video games that are worthy of the big screen are:

1. Spyro the Dragon. But I'd like the film to use his original sleeker design. The new design makes him look kinda lumpy.

2. Kingdom Hearts. Again, I don't understand why Disney hasn't jumped on this. I think there's a huge audience out there for such a film. And it'd be a reasonable use of CGI versions of Mickey, Donald, Goofy, etc. This could be so cool. Wake up, Diz!

Any Fire Emblem game would be great to see animated. Maybe as an OVA series, although I'm sure a number of recruitable units will either be missing or mostly forgotten, which means no support conversations will be present.

Still waiting for my animated Capcom vs SNK movie too.

Oh hell yes. Slap that baby on the Detour/Adult Swim and get the original cast back (Leah Remini, Tim Curry, Mark Hammil) and we're golden. :D

I always wanted to see a StarCraft cartoon.

When I was younger, I always thought a Crash Bandicoot movie would be cool.
I wouldn't mind a Super Smash Bros Brawl movie either.

A Fighting Force movie would be cool. I don't even care if they go with the Micheal Bay-eqsue mindless explosions and violence.

I'd rather not see anymore games made into movies. Super Mario Bros. made Plan 9 look like a classic, and Doom was such a big turd, not even the Rock could salvage it.

Edit: I kinda take it back. I think Katamari Damacy, done right, would be hilarious. Other than that, no more movie games plz. kthnxbai.
