Video games you want to see animated

Legend of Zelda comes to mind, personally I'd like to see in the Wind Waker style, maybe picking off where Spirit Tracks left off.

Another one I'd like to see (again) is Sam and Max, yeah I know the original series didn't last very long, and there are in game seasons now, but I'd still love to see it animated.

I would like to see how well Monkey Island does in animated form. It's got the humor and a set of great characters, even voice actors.

I just have no idea what the "system" would be for the show. Puzzle solving was the main thing in the game, so I don't know if they would put emphasis on that or make Guybrush out to be some sort of MacGyver character. With LeChuck being the main villain of the series, I also wonder if it would be a show with a continuing plot or just continuity, similar to what Venture Brothers has.

The Legend of Zelda and Metroid: These could be seriously awesome epics if done right. A short series based on Ocarina of Time or The Wind Waker would be great in Zelda's case, but as suggested by someone above, a sequel to Spirit Tracks would be great, too. Although, I'd prefer a prequel with Tetra in it.

As for Metroid, how about an adaptation of that prequel manga from a few years back, or something to tie in with the upcoming Other M.

I would fraking love comedy series (or movies) based on WarioWare and Paper Mario, as well. But, it seems the only anime Nintendo is content with having is that commercial for Pokemon they keep running (Although I love the movies).

Ratchet & Clank would have been my choice, but it would have to create a brand-new continuity now that the stories are larger and continuity is more important. Not to mention that the series would have a ridiculously-high budget if they made the episodes to look as good as the game cinematics.

Sly Cooper would be an easier one to translate. It already has the vibe and pattern of a Saturday Morning cartoon. Not to mention Sly's gallery of villains could give way to an episodic series.

River City Ransom. No, not the Japanese Kunio-Kun thing, just River City Ransom with Alex and Ryan running around beating up thugs in order to save Ryan's girl. A lot of gag potential there, too.

Ninja Gaiden. I think there was an OVA a long time ago, but something modern with the new version of Ryu Hayabusa going around the globe battling Fiends and evil Spider clan ninjas.

Uncharted. I don't have faith in Hollywood doing a live action version of this property. Do an animated adventure style show with the original voice cast.

I don't know what I'd do if I hear Vic Mignogna out of Mickey Mouse. Joking aside, yeah, that'd be pretty cool. Though, I prefer it to be a cartoon.

Kingdom Hearts would be interesting, either as a cartoon series or anime....Hopefully,if they did make an animated series, they'd keep most of the voice actors for the series' original characters....

Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier!

It has lots of memorable characters, cool action potential, robots and the bounciness Japanese enjoy ;)

Don't start! That kind of argument always derail a thread into sementic argument! Keep it for a different thread would ya?

R&C is an all-ages action/comedy series about an anthro and a little robot who are space heroes armed with crazy gadgets. How 'mature' is it supposed to get?

A show doesn't have to be 'mature', as long as it's entertaining.

The Future series is pretty mature, but the definition of "mature" that I have is that it deals with serious issues without resorting to immature dirty jokes, over-the-top violence, and swearing, while still being fun for everyone.

After reading Scott Pilgrim, I feel that no longer feel that I have to see any video games adapted to other media.

But Ninja Gaiden could work.
