Video Convertion to 3gp for N73

I have the Plato software to convert DVD to 3Gp for my N73. But movies that I recorded off the TV comprise of video TS folder that have several vob files for a movie. At present I convert these to iPod format using Clip rex software and then using Super software to convert the Mpeg to 3gp.

Has anyone got any ideas how I can simplify the process? What sort of settings in order for a sharper picture to cover the whole phone screen with reasonable loud sound
 
If you don't mind paying, I find that PQ DVD to 3GP works surprisingly well.
