video chat question mac to pc?

me and my friend were using a chat website called chatride and they could here me but couldnt see me i am using a macbook so ichat/isight wouldnt let them see me i made a mac account and everything but they couldnt see me just hear me(they were using a pc) they also chatted with one of their relatives that also had a macbook and it allowed the other person to see and hear them how can i fix this problem
