Anyone know how to change the applications that are in the bar at the bottom? I cant find the setting yet?

Go into the application menu and I think you need to hit your menu button at the bottom and hit the edit tab and then drag and drop.

Not for sms, but extorian wrote one for calendar notifications as he's getting a Galaxy S. He might be able to add more to his app.

I didn't like the bottom taskbar either. I just downloaded a home theme app called "launcher pro" from the market which looks a lot like the Froyo layout. The app is real smooth and doesn't slow down the phone at all and I've never had it force close on me.
