Vet prescribed Valium for me to give my cat so I could try to groom her, I gave

5 gm (1/2 tab) and she was? more agitated than usual and keeps meowing, it has been 3 hours, I did the grooming 1 1/2 hours ago and she is still very agitated and meowing. She is usually docile. She fought during the grooming also, no bath. Any ideas? Should I call the vet?
 
She is agitated and meowing because she is doped up. She is feeling something that she has never felt before and it scares her. Give it a few more hours and the meds will wear off and she will calm down.
