very sick fish needs help?

Hi
Can anyone tell me if there is a humane way to end a fish life.
My fish has been dying for a few days and its getting unbearable to watch him.
He is just lying on the bottom hardly breathing ,just wondering what i should do.
 
Well when you get the answer to this tell me so I can end my miserable life too. Unless you know of a way I can return to the ocean where my heart belongs?
Oh didnt think so, never mind.
