Very high ferritin level - all other tests normal - anxious?

Recently had some blood work done in advance of a colonoscopy. When I showed up for my appointment the doctor showed me the results. He was confused, because my ferritin level was at 1122 ng/ML. My other iron related results were iron - 94, TIBC - 267, % saturation - 35 and UIBC - 173, all within the normal range. I also had a complete blood count with diff-plt and again all results were within the normal range. He asked me to have the test repeated, so I did that yesterday. Waiting anxiously for the results. From what I have read, an elevated ferritin level, by itself, can be an indicator of disease or inflammation. Surely my complete blood count would have indicated such? As for my colonscopy, they removed three polyps and he told me I have diverticulosis, so he has advised increasing my fiber intake. Anyone experienced this or have any clue what might be going on? Could it simply be lab error?
