Very funny seatpost Road bike help?

Don't know the name, but saw them before. I also saw Schwinns that had a allen screw on the side of the post it lock it in place. These are hard to find and me not knowing the name doesn't help much... sorry about that!

So I have a peugeot racing frame it comes with a funny seat post. To adjust it you have to remove the seat and then unscrew a bolt on the top of the seat post and you can only then adjust it. I was wondering what is the name of this type of seat post and can I find one easy(to buy).And Merry Christmas
