very expensive roots coloured, not worked, shall i complain to the hairdresser?

I had my roots done 1 week ago and all looked perfect and nice on the day. I left hair unwashed for a few days to let the new colour settle and because it was so well blow dried. I washed my hair since and all the grey roots i went to cover in the 1st place have returned!!
It cost me £90 ( inc tip) and i want to complain! This was money down the drain if it lasted 1 week.
Is it possible? I dont normally complain- and kowing myself, I will end up appologising for it too. Its just not fair.
Have I got grounds to complain? I dont want to get the stylist into trouble. He was sweet.
 
Read what you used on your hair first and if you think it didn't cause that to happen then demand your money back or for them to do it again for free which is probably what they'll end up doing instead of giving you you money back. Also tell them that if they don't do anything about it you won't go back and give them a bad review. Good Luck
