Versamail and IMAP?

I'm trying to sync my IMAP configured inbox with Versamail on my T3, version 2.6.1, with no success. Ingoing and outgoing settings are correct, but the messages in my inbox are syncing onto my T3. Any ideas on a possible solution?
 
I didn't think versamail was configurable with an IMAP client. Am I to assume that you aren't using Outlook as your email client on the desktop?

If you are there is an update here for use with Outlook 2003 and also addresses some other issues but I'm not certain that this will help.

If you've got Outlook configured to work with an IMAP client....specify which one. Because at the moment I'm not aware that Yahoo Mail will work in this fashion. Hotmail will but all of the threads I've been reading on this specify that Yahoo is not yet correct.
 
I'm using Outlook 2003, have downloaded the update, and am using IMAP with Columbia University's e-mail system. It syncs correctly with Outlook, but I'm unable to sync from Outlook to my Palm, or, alternatively, from my Palm directly to the server.
 
Have you tried your Outlook settings? Also, what kind of system is the university using? Is it GroupWise?

If you need to synchronize with GroupWise, there are some third party apps that can do it. Intellisync and SyncWise are the most common utilities.
 
Columbia seems to use the AcIS system for e-mail and such. I'm going to try forwarding e-mails to my POP account, which worked previously. It's a haphazard solution, but will have to do until I figure out this Versamail mess.
