This might be a stupid question since Vermont pretty much is the most lenient gun state....is it legal to go out and find a place in the woods or an open field to shoot some of my rifles? I hate going to the range and I want to go find a place with no houses etc... and shoot off some rounds at targets. Is this legal? Anyone have any suggestions on a place in norther Vermont near the st. albans area? thanks!
