Verizon Wireless phone question?

my family has the family plan that allows you to get free phone for 2 years then you can get another free phone on a list.does anybody have the family plan and what is the best free phone to get?
 
Don't get the Samsung Glyde. It look's pretty, but it is terrible! The touch screen doesn't work half the time.
