Verizon Wireless cell phones and plans help.?

LG Versa VX9600 Black for Verizon Wireless

Ok this is the name of the phone.
My mom has a plan of $3.99 dollars every day you call a person, and 1 cent per text.
I want to get the same plan for my father and I. Is this possible?
Also, is it possible to have different phones, all having verizon, with a family plan.
Maybe a family plan like calling your dad for like 20 dollars a month or something like that?

Your mom is on a prepaid plan. You can all get that plan, but you do not share minutes or anything since it's not a family plan.. You can combine all your lines into a postpay family plan if you want..
 
Your mother has a prepaid plan and not a contract plan. This means the rate that she is paying is more expensive than a contract plan.

However with a prepaid plan, anyone can sign up with no age restrictions and you can cancel your account at any time without any fees like a contract. With a prepaid plan you won't be on a family plan. Each person would have their own phone and separate accounts.

But if you want a account with all your members together you would have to get a contract plan with Verizon Wireless for 2 years. With family plans the cost is 69.99 for 2 telephone lines and you get 700 minutes a month plus free nights and weekends. If you want to add more lines than you add 9.99 for another line.

So with prepaid you pay 3.99 every day so a month you already paid almost 120.00. Much more expensive than a contract plan as you can see,

With contracts, you have to be 18 years old and the cell phone company runs a credit check on the person who will be activating the account.
