Verizon Wireless/Alltel merger near completion, when can Alltel users start...

...using Verizon phones? Im with Alltel and have been for a few years now. The Verizon Wireless buy out is supposed to be completed July 11th. Is this when Alltel users can start using Verizon model phones? Im sure their devices will be integrated with Alltel's devices. I really love the Blackberry Storm and would like to upgrade to that phone since Im due for an upgrade. Does anybody know if their phones are available for Alltel to use yet? Thanks.
 
Actually it's been finalize for a long time. Verizon had to sell some of it in order to meet gov't requirements which most of it went to ATTT. You may not even be part of verizon at the end of things.
The most likely stay as two separate identities. But verizon has been working on a program that would allow other phone from other carriers to be use on verizon network but not all will meet those requirements.
