Instead of posting a new topic, I'll post this here because it fits perfectly.
I bought an audiovox 8900 verizon from ebay. Called cricket to activate...they wouldn't activate it over the phone, said i needed to take it to cricket to be flashed. Ok, so i drive over 30 miles to my nearest cricket store and they tell me to go SOMEWHERE ELSE to have the phone flashed. Turns out the somewhere else is 2 stores down in a strip mall. i paid $30 to have the phone flashed and was told to have cricket add it to my account then return to the store to get the phone programmed. Then they tell me that there is no photo messaging, no cricket clicks, and no travel time.
I didn't go to cricket to get the phone added because this is a huge crock of *hit.
I called cricket to ask if i could use the 8900 before i even bought it. They in turn referred me to the cricket stores which i called numerous times, only got a voice mail and left a ton of messages.........and no return phone call.
why doesn't cricket 611 tell you the entire deal over the phone? I've been happy with cricket's service, but their phones leave alot to be desired, especially the price. I don't know, i'm beginning to think cingular blue gophone was the way to go, at least i could photo message, instant message and travel. Also cingular has always been upfront with me on the phone.
