I recently received a free message from verizon telling me that i would be able to send more than 160 characters to non-verizon customers. I'm assuming they meant that the messages would just be broken into two or more messages at the 160 character limit but i still receive the other free message from verizon stating that the non-verizon customers won't receive past 160 characters and the recipient confirms it for me. Can anyone tell me why I wouldn't be able to send these messages even though i received the message from verizon telling me that i could?
PS: I can and always have been able to send more than 160 characters to Verizon customers.
