i bought an old smart phone (motorola q) to replace my standard alias 2 because it was getting a bit beat up and started to fall apart. after i got it from ebay i took it to the store and they activated it without a problem but were not able to transfer all of my contacts because the backup ap was not available for the phone.
i want a good smart phone for the keyboard and calls, that is it. i dont like any of the normal phones they have to offer now- only the smartphones.
is it possible to buy one of the smartphones, FROM THEM, but have the data package disabled? or can this process only be had if i buy the phone from a third party first, rather than verizon? thanks for your help
