I read the thread that was posted as a sticky above, but I had some trouble with the way I did it. I cut my mp3 in a program called "Audacity" and it was a 10 second sound file. I exported the mp3 file to a wave file. Opened up the wav file in sound recorder and changed the quality to 22.0something hz mono. Then used audacity to export it back to a mp3. Then changed the extension to a .mid file. I sent the file to my phone from gmail and/or hotmail, sent it to @vzwpix.com. I noticed though when I sent it with gmail it changed file to .aac but hotmail kept it at mid. The file size was 236kb, but it only says save as sound, and I can never save it as a ringtone. I tried sending the sound to my phone from the phone, but it still wouldnt let me save it as a ringtone. Sorry if this message is confusing but its 4am! Any ideas on why this isnt working? I have a motorola razr. Please help.
