Hello there, I am wondering if anyone has had this phone transfered from verizon to cricket? Cricket made it too difficult for me to attain my spc for my kyocera remix or I would keep that, but since they gave me harRABhip in aquiring the spc for my firmware hacking neeRAB I intend on buying a v3m and get it activated on cricket. Also wonder if there are any other good phone choices besides the v3m or kyocera slider remix that have micro sd capability. Only reason I purchased the remix was because it can take transflash memory.

yeah i think people have been trying to flash it to get rid of the ui. the phone just neeRAB prl updated and cricket sid to be able to place and recieve text messages and calls.

According to this thread, you can get MMS and WAP (aka "Info & Email") to work over Cricket on your Motorola hanRABet:

I am strongly considering getting a v3m because I read somewhere that all you have to do is flash the PRL and get an activation code from Cricket in ordeer for it to work. I want to keep the Verizon GUI because I want to be able to play music (playlist and sync) and access the TransFlash card.

If you do the Alltel flash, they say it makes your v3m a v3c PERIOD--and right now, there is NO WAY to flash it back! This means no music playlist and no TransFlash access. :bulging:

I couldn't care less about losing Cricket Clicks, however.

If you have the full flash it is probably for the V3c and not the v3m. The only difference between the two is v3m has a micro SD card and the V3c doesn't. If you flash the V3m with a V3c monster file, the Micro SD won't work. Like berry said, it is better to stick with the Verizon interface and then set up the internet on the phone. As far as the "activation code", I am not sure what you mean. Is it the SPC code? That is usually "000000", then follow the instructions that berry provided and you should have mms/internet on the phone and have a phone that has a card.
