Verizon Prepaid flashed to Cricket?? Possible?

I just switched from Verizon Postpaid to Cricket Wireless. Sold my verizon phones. My question is, can I go to walmart and buy a prepaid Verizon phone and then flash it to work on a Cricket Wireless network? I know they both run CDMA. I got a cheap phone from Cricket and do not want to pay 200 for a new phone.

Your gonna have to get you MIN nuraber from cricket after you falsh it and put it in the NAM1 of the phone. and you'll have to change you MED to. Then you just gotta call cricket and have them activate the ESN-MEID on our account. It costs $15

yes but then you might run into the problem of them not letting you change over during the first 30 days because you got the first month free for buying a cricket phone.

In fact, the best deal is the buy the "free" phone on the cricket website for what works out to be about $22, get the free first month, and then switch after 30 days.
