Ok so right now my family has the 1400 min. family plan and then we have unlimited texting (extra $30) for four people on Verizon. Our monthly bill is about $160. If my mom, possibly my sister, and me want to get smartphones (at the $15 per month rate each so $30-$45), how can we save money? If we cut our minutes to 700, that saves us $20, what about the texting? There is a talk & text plan but I'm not sure how much texting comes with it. It's $100 for 700 minutes. So how much texting comes with the talk and text plan with 700 minutes for $100? Is there any other way to cut our bill for the money for the data?
Verizon used to have a 700 min. + unlimited text + unlimited data but they got rid of it right? I know Sprint and T-Mobile have family plans with data, texting, and talking at about $170 per month and AT&T might too but I'm not sure.
