As expected, Verizon Wireless has entered into an acquisition agreement with Alltel. The deal will cost Verizon $28.1 billion; approximately $5.9 billion for the carrier and $22.2 billion for settling its debt. The merger should be completed before the end of the year, subject to obtaining regulatory approvals. verizon sucks. And sprint was the first to introduce unlimited everything as verizon only introduced unlimited talk for about the same price.
Sprint will not lose customers and PTT is the gayiest invention in the world.

And who has alltel when tekcirC is around?
Peace!

i used to have verizon just because of me traveling alot.. verizon and altell will be good but nowhere as good as crickets unlimited for $50 a month once cricket expanRAB more they will notice that they will need to switch to cricket.. ahah its ever funnier looking at the mycricket.com website when there dissing the other companies by comparing the monthly unlimited plan :) crickets #1

cricket's prices are hard to beat, but you're only limited to your local call area... all the rest at least have nationwide roaming

I dont' have CricKet as it is not offered in my market, but IMO, just from looking at what all other "Chain" cell phone providers have to offer, CricKet is the best bang for the buck. The $60 plan offers you 200 roaming minutes a month and for everyone except the frequent travelers, that should be sufficient. I'd definitely give them a try if they were in my area.
