I am looking to upgrade from the Treo 650 and I am looking for some advice...
When the 700w first came out the windows media turned me off, I could get myself away from the palm OS. Now that the Q has come out there are a few more astetic reasons that push me away from the treo, like the weight of it when i put it in my suit pocket.
My main concerns looking for a new phone are...
-I must stay with Verizon! (unfortunately, great service but they now freedom with their phones)
-the ease the treo has with "outlook" type programs. I do not have a great memory and it has been a savior.
-the treo it has been my favorite phone since the startac.
-i need quick email without buying good link or anything like that, preferably for numerous email accounts.
-internet is nice but not a huge concern. If i was going to use it it better work.
-don't like the bulkiness of the pocket pcs
-wouldn't mind having microsoft office programs to see attachements. I think you can download wiht both.
-reliability. since the star tac motorola has not had the greatest trac record with me.
-great wireless sync. I am not computer savy but i have an idea of what i am doing. I rather not get my IT departmet to set it up wiht my outlook at work.
-decent applications to go with it. I live in NYC, i need something to do on the subways plus if i could get rid of my ipod and just us the phone tha twould be ideal.
I can't think of much else. I really wasnt' in the market for a new phone but since i broke my 650 I figured i should get some advice before running out to buy a new phone.
