Verizon Mot. Droid (2nd) OR Blackberry Curve 8530 to flash?????

I have two phones both on Verizon, one is a Motorola Droid (2nd generation? slide out) and a Blackberry Curve 8530.

We currently use Cricket but have their phones and are wanting to flash either the Droid or the BB. Which works better for the full flash? Any big issues? I know we'd have to change our plan to their Android or BB plan, not a big deal.

The guy who is going to flash our phones said that not all the BB's apps will work but they all work with the Droid. Is that true?

It is true that not all apps will work on the BB. Now my personal choice would be the Droid.
