Hello everybody. I might be gettin a phone on inpulse and I'm wonderin what phones will work with inpulse. Will the Envy or Envy 2 work? Voyager? Decoy? It would be awesome if somebody could give a list of the phones usable on inpulse. I was lookin on the verizon website and it only has around 8 phones to pick from. Can you buy a phone and convert it to prepaid or use it on inpulse? The only phone I liked on their website was the Motorola Rarz V3M. How is this phone? Anybody who's used or own this phone please tell me if you like it and the pros and cons. Thanks!!!

The list of phones you can use is very simple: it can be any Verizon Wireless (or otherwise CDMA) phone that doesn't have an HTML Browser or V CAST Mobile TV. It also can't be push to talk.

This means, from the phones you listed, you can use them all except the Voyager (HTML Browser/Mobile TV).

You can covert any phone that meets the above expectations to prepaid as long as it's CDMA. Generally, it's difficult for them to want to activate a non-Verizon phone; however.

The Motorola RAZR V3m isn't a good choice anymore. It's outdated and is virtually only used by prepaid.

If you choose to use a phone that isn't one of the ones they market as a prepaid device (meaning it's not one of the 8 phones listed on their site) you would have to pay full retail price, which is usually very high.

I wouldn't tell them what kind of phone it is. They'll know when they enter the ESN number...so if they have a problem with it at that point, then argue with them.

Okay lol...I would just hate to buy a $150 phone and not be able to use it. But I'm pretty sure I would be able to. This is off verizon's website under FAQS for prepaid:
What phones can I use with the Verizon Wireless Prepaid service?

A dual-mode or tri-mode CDMA GPS-compatible handset is required for Verizon Wireless Prepaid service. Most CDMA cellular phones are compatible with our network. To determine if particular phone is compatible with our network, you can view the current list of wireless phones that are available on our Phones page, or you may contact us online by Contacting Us. Thanks for all the help by the way!

Also, How do you activate a brand new phone like an EnV or EnV2? What about an EnV or EnV2 thats been used on postpaid? What are the steps for both? Thanks so much!!!!
