I have a bit of an issue with my internet connection, maybe someone can help?
I have Verizon DSL,
It is a wireless connection (I know the whole bit about being plugged in to the modem is better but i can not plug it into the modem, I need to be wireless. plus i tried it the other day, and not much better results from speedtest.net)
I have the lowest internet package, I dont want the fastest internet money can buy, just enough to browse the internet, its DSL, not dial up.
However, my connection speed right now according to www.speedtest.net is
1341ms
0.06Mb/s (download)
0.00Mb/s (upload)

I know this is not a normal dsl connection,
(no, no one else is on the connection, and no im not downloading anything at the moment of the speed test and yes WEP)
When i call Verizon they just say thats the package Im paying for, I know this cant be right. when i had cable internet where i lived before it was just about 1Mb/s, so i knew it was gonna be slower, but this is outrageous.
my wireless card is 54.0 Mbps
I know this is not right, anyone know more about this?
