If I activate an old, unused LG env2 on the verizon wireless network, do I have to buy a data plan?
The env3 requires a data plan. The env2 is not available anymore. I have read that the data plan is automatically added to your phone when you activate certain phones regardless of where you got the phone.
Cell Towns - I think you should recheck your information. The env3 now requires a 9.99 per month data plan. The "smart phones" require a 29.99 data plan, but the env3 and other "multimedia phones" require 9.99 per month.
And also, it seems as though if you buy a phone on the internet that they require a data plan with if you buy through the store, they will automatically add the data plan when you activate.
Sorry cell - I misread your answer. I'm asking specifically about the env2 though...
