So I've had a problem receiving calls from a certain tower for MONTHS now. I've been bugging Verizon about it since January.
I have an LG VX8700 and in the vicinity of the tower next to my apartment, I do not get any incoming calls. The person calling me will hear a ring tone, as if its going through to my phone, but in fact it's not. So you can imagine alot of people think I'm just ignoring their calls! Outgoing calls work fine. I suspect a routing issue with their towers...but then again I'm a simple customer who doesn't know as much as "Tony" the Tech.
After months of talking to tech and getting people out here, they say that "we are aware of a problem" but "you should just end your contract"...
Wow. Soo let me get this straight, there is a known problem, and instead of taking the time to fix it, it's easier just to say "terminate your contract"? Thanks for standing by the customer, Verizon!
