Verizon Contract Renewal Perks????

We were just informed in November 2008 that Verizon NO LONGER HAS THE 100.00 CREDIT in the new every 2 plan!!! THEY DROPPED IT DOWN TO 50.00 AS OF FEBRUARY 2006! Talk about a surprise!![/U] When you go to renew with Verizon, you may be in store for surprises that you didn't expect...and not in a good way~
 
Are you crazy?. When you are up for your renewal with verizon you get 2 year pricing. Plus the primary number gets up to 100 for the New Every Two Credit. Amazon cells phones as a indirect agent which has different specials. They are virutally a seperate company re-selling verizn wireless service/phones at different advertised prices. At verizon you will still get the two year discount price when you are up for renewal plus the additional money for NE2 if you are a primary number. As far as secondary lines they get the two year pricing (new customer price) on any phone. P.S. No cell phone provider really makes any big bucks off equipment, it all comes from service plans because the equipment is discounted upfront.



You must have not been up for an upgrade. I've never seen a blackberry for 370$ for two year pricing. You either misunderstood something or was given incorrect pricing. Check again. For example. Currently the two year price any blackberry verizon offers does not exceed 149.99 (after mail in rebate or with internet purcahse). Re-check your information.



This is not correct either....let me explain.

The New Every Two Credit was changed to a Tiered System.

IF your basic calling plan is between 39.99 - 79.98 you are eligble for up to $50.00 NE2 Credit.

If your basic calling plan is 79.99 or above you are eligble for up to $100.00 NE2 Credit.

Please get your facts right before posting people.
