You can go to their site and register for My Verizon and it will chart your cell plan with them including giving you the things which you have used on your phone.
Hey, i had the same problem... go to setting and tools.. then My Verizon (no data or airtime used)...
click on usage
then messaging
and vooahlah! you are done...
it shows IN texts, and off texts
