In the next couple weeks, i will be joining a friends family plan and getting the droid eris. I understand that you will get the eris for free when you sign up for one with a 2 yr activation. My friend had just upgraded to the samsung intensity (piece of crap phone) about 2 a month and a half ago. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the free one over to his phone line? Could we say that it is lost/stolen and maybe could get a discounted price or just throw the free one on the line? Once again, i do understand that you need to have a 2 year agreement with both lines in order for this deal to take place. Anyone know any way around this?
