Now I know verizon blocked bluetooth file transfer... Why the hell they make a default app on their phones to transfer files I don't know. may aswell just remove the app from day 1. I'm sure my fellow verizon users are peeved at this ( provided they'd use such an ability )
YET, I was able to use the media share and transfer files from phone to phone. It didn't work for a while than one day my mms texting stopped working (only txt no pics or files would download or send) and BAM bluetooth worked. Now I had to fix my texting but... now the media share no longer works. There IS a way around it.. But how?! Any ideas without massive reprogramming (risking making it into a paperweight). This is a need for my work. It was such a need this media share was the very reason I got the phone. They told it you can transfer files via bluetooth with the device... business started didn't need it often so didn't think much of it.. then it worked when I needed it and now i've massive amounts of things to transfer and do but I can't get the dang thing working.
Any helpful advice. Changing providers is a definate must-do when contract is up but I'd prefer not to wait and lose productivity... plus it's a 300$ phone that cant be brought to another company to activate there. I know I HATE verizon now
