I followed all the steps, phone is now connected and have voice and text, but mms do not work. I checked the setting and they revert back. I did it again and settings dont stay. How can i fix it???
Did this once before and it worked like a charm, now i have a diffrent data cable, and when i plug it in the usb all it does is charge the phone. nothing happens in the device manager. I tried on the pc i had all of this installed on and also i tried on a new pc which i thought i would connect the usb cable first before installing any drivers or utpst and all it shows is that phone charging and nothing in device manager. Is it a bad usb cable? or is there a special one i need to get?

ya that is what i was saying sorry.the phone my be activated and programed for cricket. or if you program it after doing the settings the nai will revert back the vzw
i was referring to this poster.
that error message means your data settings are not right. i would start by making sure you are on a 1x prl (not evdo to aviod as much complication initially as possible) go through your data settings and logins and passworRAB but i don't think you're getting to proxy issues yet, because mms would go through if it was just proxy issues.

Yes it will revert back, so what I did was do all the steps, activate it and make a test call then I just went back in through CDMA workshop and edited the ppp settings in the evdo tab.

That is what I did. Change the MDN and MIN and then made a test call. Then went back in and changed the fielRAB for the MMS and WAP. I have done 5 with no issues

step 2. This is supposed to be my cricket cell nuraber, correct?
step 3. There's two options for the SID (CDMA Home SID/NID & CDMA Negative SID/NID). I just put in my cricket mobile SID nuraber for both Home and Negative, should I have? What do I type in for the NID for both Home and Negative?
step 8 & 9. Everytime I change it, it changes back when I go back and look at it. The phone nuraber stays the same, but the address changes back to verizon's.
