Okay, I don't know if I got the facts straight but I'm pretty pissed off. I'm looking for a new phone and the LG Ally (Android) was on the top of the list for me. I thought that AIM, MSN, etc. would not count against my text messages since they're an app on Android which costs $30 bucks per month on its own. Now with a little research, it's telling me that it WILL count on my text. People who AIM/MSN should know how much lines there are per conversation right? Like thousands. It's impossible to avoid getting unlimited texting if you planned on using AIM/MSN.
Can someone please explain to me how this makes sense? Besides the fact that more money's going into their pockets. I'm still going to text even with an Android so what the heck?
Please correct me if I gave any misinformation. I would also like tips on how you would deal with this situation to get the best deal out of it. If none, I'll stick to my original plan. My budget is AROUND $30 bucks per month for myself only (that means if I get a 3G phone, it counts towards that budget). As a family, our bills are already skyrocketing so someone please help me find a plan that's right for a major caller and texting/instant messaging addict.
For the planning, I prefer the LG slide QWERTY keyboard so any phones except the Cosmos will do if that's any help.
