Verizon A870 MMS & WAP is working.

yeah- look at my join date...i first logged in 08/07 and flashed my first phone in 09/07...it was a lg va8100...now look at us go...lol
 
must set homepage, password in hex pairs to equal cricket, and brew settings if you want brew...just internet is just the first two: homepage and password.

hint: use spst
 
Ive got a US Cellular A870 that Im trying to get flashed but cant seem to use any programs on it. QPST asks me for the SPC and Im pretty positive its all 0s but when I type it in and try and read from the phone it tells me that the SPC is incorrect. When I try and use Bitpim to try and find the SPC it wont recognize the phone. Ive tried the Verizon A870 and U540 dlls with Samsung PST but both give me a Debug Assertion Failed Error and a unsupported operation attempted Error. Ive even tried CDMA Workshop to no avail. Can someone please help me on this? Thanks.
 
I Still need the codes for mms hidden menu. I got wap working with vzw firmware on the a870. I have looked all over this forum and web for the codes, but i cant seem to locate them..... I understand the hush hush on this solution!!!
 
use bitpim and manually select the com port and select other cdma phone as the type under edit\settings...

now you can get your spc via the nvm\nvm\nvm_0002 file...your spc will not be 000000 if it is a vzw prepaid b/c their prepaiRAB don't have that one...enjoy
 
Thanks random. Found the SPC and got the Cricket prl loaded but how do I change the SPC to all 0s? When I read the phone with QPST all fielRAB are blank. There isnt even a Security Code menu anywhere for me to change or input anything at. What next? By the way, this is a US Cellular A870 if it matters any.
 
they will but then the;ll regret it b/c you have to use a different dll and input the password for data in hex pairs...and reprogram brew wettings...

super kewl eh???
