I just cracked my Verizon 6600 PPC so basically all I can do is dial out with voice command and answer calls. Ebay replacements are too much $$ for a 2 year old phone, even though I love mine dearly.
The 6700 seeme near end of life but nothing firm on a date for a 6800. The Q is nice but I want Magneto for GPS.
The Treo 700W looks good but I think it is not a good long term solution. They are promoting the heck out of the 700W & 700P so perhaps they are end of life too?
I am pretty close to bagging it all, buying a cheap used regular old cell phone and biding my time waiting for something new and compelling from Verizon.
Anyone have any insight into Verizons plans for new PPC phones? For a leading carrier their business selection seems to be poor and stodgy when compared to T-Mobile and Sprint, or is my perception flawed?
Thanks, any advice and guidance appreciated. Oh, and while I'm on my soap box, can anyone explain to me why a HTC phone can't handle BT communication reliably? It does not seem too much to ask of a phone to work and be audible without wires....
