Verify by cellphone number?

When you set up a new facebook account and try to add friends it asked you to verify by cellphone if you don't want to use a captcha everytime. If you used your cell number to verify before it does not let you use it again. How can you get past this? I know deleting your cookies doesn't work. Any ideas?
