how is the economy in Venezuela doing compared to other countries?

and can you tell me some things about the culture? I would like to go to college there and possibly live. Please tell me all you know, especially if there are places I can learn spanish there, scholarships, etc.
 
Just like one past president said "We are bad but we´re going good", I don´t understand what happen in my country, is difficult to find a job but the last year was broken record of brandnew sell car.
