Hey all, got an inspiration from another thread for this, but was thinking about something. There are a whole lot of vendors and developers who haunt these forums, offering advice and whatnot on their various products... be it memory cards or software. So, as a service to both them and to us HoFo'ers, why not have a thread where developers can leave their contact information, and list the products/services/software they provide that are Series 60 related. I'm not looking at this to be a mad advertising frenzy, but rather a contact information type of thread.
So, for example, use a format like this:
Vendor ID:
Website:
Product(s):
Contact Information:
Short Blurb:
Sure, there's a vendor marketplace here on HoFo, but this allows for:
a.) information that is specific to Series 60, so we don't have to sift through non-S60 stuff to find it,
b.) an easy way for someone to find support if they've purchased the product, and
c.) a place where people can go to see which vendors care enough to have a forum presence... since personally, I'd much rather buy from someone who I know is on HoFo then just random vendor from the internet.
AGAIN, this is not meant to be a huge advertising thread, just a way for you to say "hey end users, this is who we are, these are our products, we are active here on the forums, and here's how to contact us for any questions or concerns."
Without sounding like TOO much of a hippy, if we all work together, it's better for everyone!
