I have a terrible crabgrass problem that takes over my vegetable garden every year. It chokes and robs the nutrients from my plants. I would like to know is there a pre-emergent product I can apply to the garden to keep the crabgrass from coming up yet is safe to plant vegetables? I don't plan to seed directly into the garden but buy the starters already so it wouldn't be affected. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
