I am fairly new to gardening. I'm fine with turnip, beets, carrots, and tomatoes; it's easy enough to know when they're ready.
I'm wondering about the other veg I've planted for the first time this year. I have been searching all over and can't find the answer to when these are ready (I don't want to pick them too early or too late!)
jalapeno peppers
carmen peppers
pickling cucumbers
zucchini
I know this is a fairy dumb question and that if I searched hard enough I might find the answer but think of it this way: easy 10 points for you
I live in Canada. I planted on May 21st, after the last frost. All of these plants are in containers, and are bearing fruit - I'm not asking IF my plants are going to grow or why they're not growing, I'm asking when each of the veg are ready (what size, what they look like). Thanks
