I'm taking Photo 1 this year, and have just found out that the paper that we are using to print the pictures on contains emulsions that have gelatin as the glossy finish on the front of the picture.
The problem is, I'm a strict vegan, and can not have anything to do with animal before I decide to print.
The thing is, the school provides the paper, so I'd have to get my own.
I don't find it a problem to just buy animal-free paper myself,
but I can't find printing paper for the oldfashioned way of photography!
When I say oldfashioned, I mean the 35 mm camera with black and white pictures needed for developing.
I can't drop the class, it's a full-year course!
Please help me find an alternative?
P.S My teacher is NOT a digital picture kind of person.
P.S.S. Does the film that we use to take pictures include gelatin or any other animal product as well?
