I know being a vegetarian sometimes there isn't even a veggie menu and when there is its the same old pasta or stir fry...

I am slowly turning vegan so just curious...
guys just to let u know : go onto happycow.com

Its a website with loads of receips , where to find your nearest vegan/veggie restaurent and stuff...

It is kind of hard, but I rarely go out to eat. Not for that reason, but because I'd rather know exactly what goes into my food and exactly how it is prepared.

It depends.
I'd say 95% of the time there is but once I had to go to a seafood restaurant on my b'day (it had good children's activities so it'd be easier for the parents) and I knew before hand so I just brought my own BIG salad.
It was very satisfying when everyone else got food poisoning.

Yes it is, and even when you do find something vegan to eat (french fries, rice, borrito) they are likely grilling it on the same grill they use for meat, deep frying it in oil the used for meat, touching it with things that have touched meat.....

I believe that if u are vegan, u should eat out as little as possible...cause u just dont know what is getting cross contaminated with your food.

yeah it really is, but good for you! if you can find a good vegan restaurant it's all good though

No, typically you can request things without dairy or meat. You just have to look around a bit. Usually mom and pop restaurants are easier to do this at, you'll be hard pressed to find vegan options at a steak house.
